All I can say is.....it's been a long, long while since I've last posted; so much has happened in the past year and a bit. I am attempting to pick up my blog again and keep on.
First off, I'd like to introduce one of the biggest, and most wonderful things that's happened in my life; I have myself a man. :)

Not only is Otto Phelps my bestest friend in the world, but he is also the man I am soon to marry! On June 29, 2013, I will be known as Tanaya Phelps!

In the summer of 2011, just shortly before I started this blog, I went on a mission trip to Poland along with about 30 other people.

These people were from my church, our sister churches in Anchorage, Alaska; Portland, Oregon; and Tokyo, Japan. We met up with pastors from our sister churches in Poznan and Gdansk, Poland. Our ministry consisted mostly of forming a choir, "Choral Gaudete", and singing throughout the streets of Poland. Long story short, Otto was one of the young men from the Alaskan church who came along with his father, the pastor of the church.

My Dad, Otto and I on a train to Gdank, Poland!

From that time onwards we have gotten to know each other through email, skype and phone calls.
We had a romantic picnic on the beach when he came to visit me on June 5, 2012, and that's when he proposed!

It's been a long engagement and sometimes very hard because of the distance, but we're making it through and will be married in 38 days!

Here are just some pictures from our engagement shoot, hard to choose which ones I like the best!

And just a fun one I took on my crappy phone camera.

Just hope and pray that I can keep up with this! I want to be able to post updates on my new family and my new home in Alaska!

Cheers!
