So on the way to church on Sunday it was really foggy....it looked very eerie and mysterious.

I've been wanting to take pictures of the trees outside of my church for awhile. Today I was at a conference and I just happened to have my camera with me....And the trees are very "Canadian"....the leaves are the same as the ones on our flag and they just happen to be red!

I was trying to capture a field at night covered with mist.....it didn't turn out so well....thought it was still kinda cool though.
So it looks like I have ALOT of catching up to do. My internet decided not to work for a long time and I finally found the time to post the pictures I've been taking lately. The fall weather has been beautiful around here. The trees, the landscape, even the nip in the air is great! As I probably mentioned before, Fall is probably my most favorite season.

The cat in these pictures is named Leonardo, aka "Leo". He's a new kitten of a friend of mine. He is so adorable and playful! He would play inside my sweater and play with my camera cord. He would also follow me all over the property. I even made myself over to their pond and when I turned around from taking a picture, there he was sitting next to me on the log!

At the moment I'm sitting in Starbucks enjoying a warm cup of London Fog tea. I love the atmosphere here...so relaxing. Sadly I've been working and been busy with school these past few days so I haven't been able to take any pictures. Even when I wasn't busy, it's finding pictures of things that I haven't already taken. Basically what I've posted has been my life for the past few weeks. School, eat, walk, work, sleep, and did I say school??......Sadly I forgot to bring my camera to Starbucks because I'm already seeing things I would of loved to take pictures of. Hopefully in the next couple of days I'll be able to find some things and I'll actually remember to bring my camera lol. Hope everyone's days are full of blessings!

Hey why don't you guys do some writing for a change? Let me know what you guys have been up to lately in the comment box below! And why not request pictures?! That would give me something to do!

God bless you all!

So the wind was blowing today and the leaves were falling, so I decided I wanted to take a walk in our back woods. I love fall, it's probably my most favorite season. I love the smell of the forest after rain, especially when there's a mist, makes the surroundings seem so eerie and mysterious. One of my favorite bugs....most people think I'm weird for thinking this, especially because I'm a girl lol.....are spiders. Personally I would love to own a tarantula one day.

So basically my day consists of schoolwork and keeping warm. :D Every morning I do my own personal devotions and I've been working through the book of Romans. Today I read Romans 12. Basically it is talking about always presenting ourselves as servants of God. We must always present ourselves as holy and acceptable and not to conform ourselves to the world. If we follow the ways of the world and accept it's ways, we will be blinded to the will of God and what is holy and acceptable.

"Do not therefore be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good acceptable and perfect." Romans 12:2

Paul also tells us what the marks of a true Christian are in verses 9 through 21:

"Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality.
Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them. Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight. Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all. If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all. Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” To the contrary, “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."
Romans 12:9-21

I think as Christians, we all desire to do the will of God and stay holy and pure. Sin is a powerful thing and always tempts us to do the opposite of what we know is right. But in praying, devoting ourselves fully to God, always meditating on His word, God will be with us through all our trials and tribulations. For as it says in Romans 5: 3-5 "Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us."

One thing that I absolutely love to take pictures of, don't know why, is food. I have always had a passion for the making, the garnishing, and the look of food. This was tonight's dinner.

Have you ever looked at things throughout your day that inspired you, that encouraged you, and thought, hey that would make a good picture, or I would love to always have that instilled in my mind. I decided that I needed to make a way of looking back at my days through pictures. So how did this blog get started? It started out today, today is always a good day to start don't you think? I was in the kitchen at the time, washing dishes, and I happened to see a bowl of three eggs. There was one of those, "I need a picture" moments! So I went and got my camera and that got me thinking. I love designing and taking pictures so I decided that I would record my life through the lens of a camera! As often as I can through my busy life of school, work, family and all those good things, I will take pictures of things that make me think of events and people, inspire me, and are just simply something I'm doing throughout the day. Some pictures will be random and others I hope will be quite artistic. I hope that I will also be able to show God's love and creation through these pictures and that everyone viewing my blog, which I hope will be many, will enjoy it greatly!
